Here you will find rental objects for your vacation in the region

   Torroella de Montgrí is not situated directly at the coast, but approx. 4 km away from the beaches. It is a small local traffic- and commercial-junction for this part of the Costabrava. This doesn't mean, that Torroella is a industrial city anyway. The historical town centre contains a tangle of small lanes, a central marketplace and some smaller historical buildings.
The marketplace is the meeting center of the native population, around which the whole old part of town is arranged. At this place there are a lot of concerts during summer.    
   In the small lanes are an immense number of small shops, in which one can receive quite everything, you may need. Food, clothes, shoes, colors and lacquers, tobacco…
Once a week there takes place a market in the old part of town, which fills not only the place, but also the lanes around the marketplace.    
   There all farmers sell their products. You'll find cheese, honey, different fruits and vegetable, corn-products, fish, meat and sausage… everything the region offers. Even dealers with clothes and shoes sell their products there.
At the upper end of the old part of the town you'll find a historical cathedral, which is still fully in use as church today.   
   The cathedral and the surrounding buildings are impressive buildings with a fantastic Spanish flair….
A landmark of Torroella de Montgri, the Castell de Montgri (Castell de Roca Maura), rises up on a small mountain and is already recognizable from far away.
